A surfboard is not an object. It is a conversation.
Between a surfer, a wave and the person imagining the line that might bring them together.
Shapers Club documents that conversation. We speak about rails, volume and fins, but also about transmission, intuition and territories. Behind every board that feels right lies a point of view, years of testing and a culture worth preserving.
Find the line
Remove material, check symmetry, feel each transition under the palm. A precision that remains deeply instinctive.
Keep craft alive
Connect generations and surf cultures so independent know-how can keep evolving without losing its soul.
02 Inside the workshop
From a foam blank to a living line.
The drawing
Everything starts with an intention: hold a hollow line, accelerate through a weak shoulder or rediscover the release of a single fin. The outline gives direction before any tool touches foam.
The shape
Rocker, concaves, rails and volume distribution answer one another. Each pass removes very little, yet profoundly changes how water will move under the board.
The glassing
Cloth, resin, pigment and curing time turn a fragile shape into a durable tool. This is also where colour becomes a signature without hiding function.
The first surf
The first wave does not end the process; it reveals it. A surfer’s feedback feeds the next board and continues a search that never truly stops.
